Ok, so I took Ana to see Beauty and the Beast for lovelesswrists’ b-day gift to her. After seeing that movie again as an adult, there were a few WTF moments and realizations. Here is the troubling fact: The Beast and his servants have been cursed for almost 10 years up until his 21st birthday. This means: The witch cursed an 11-year-old and his servants (who did nothing to her) because he was a snot to her. That’s fucked up. Was his parents not living in the castle too? An 11-year-old was living on his own? That’s fucked up. Chip is what, like 7-years-old? So that means Mrs. Potts gave birth to him a few years into the curse. And not only him, she has an entire cupboard full of children, like 20 or more. She’s like a grandmother. Who is banging Mrs. Potts? Good for her but what the fuck?
